Methylene blue is antidote
to cyanide poisoning;

derived from morphine;
a square kilometer is .3861 acres;
metropolis is a mother city;
a mew is home for hawks;

Mickey Mouse is a character;

What was I doing on the day
I looked through my Webster’s
Ninth Collegiate Dictionary
on pages 748 and 749?
Faint blue spots on both pages,
egg dye drops on black and white.

Hey hey
Lady!
I hope you plan to put some of this together and have it published!
Your approach and ability to describe nature and what you see around you is right there!
Very reminiscent Ann Zwinger /Rick Bass and others who truly SEE and LOVE.
As always, thank you for sharing.
Charles is handsome but I love Earl! MY kinda guy,
Terry is a lucky guy to have you there.
I "feel" your aliveness.
Later,
Namaste

Hey Carol,
The poem is eerie. Excellent progression of size and implication, metropolis to mouse, the world expands and then shrinks. Love it.
Peace,
